The conference will also allow participants to determine where to base their value chain for tax and VAT purposes, and analyse recent M&A deals and new markets within the TMT sector to pinpoint global opportunities and threats.

Jacqueline Minor, the European Commission's Head of Representation in the United Kingdom since 2013, is the keynote speaker. Minor is very much in demand as Prime Minister David Cameron seeks to renegotiate Britain's membership of the European Union. Minor is the European Commission's spokesperson in the UK and has overall responsibility for the UK Representation and the activities of the three offices in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
The TMT Forum agenda for May 18 includes the keynote speech on EU plans for the digital single economy, and panel discussions on European regulation, the risks involved in cross-border operations and where to base value chains. There will also be panels focused on preparing for the future, the role of counsel in innovation and protecting, and managing and licensing IP. The day concludes with a discussion on the unitary patent and unified patent court and a networking drinks reception.
May 19 kicks off with a discussion on safeguarding and making the most out of data, TMT market trends, global opportunities and threats, and competition law.
