You must have done either to be eligible, that is, make a World Tax submission or enter separately for the awards.

To decide the winners, International Tax Reviews team of journalists will undertake detailed research from a variety of sources. Submissions from firms are a vital part of this research. The magazines editorial staff will also consult a large number of tax advisers, private-practice lawyers, tax executives and in-house counsel to gain their perspective on the ground-breaking work of the June 2011 to June 2012 period.

Shortlists will be compiled based on the submissions and research, and the winners will be chosen after a poll of international tax executives.

Awards criteria
