EU agreement on import duty exemption should boost investment in Africa

Exports from four African countries – Zimbabwe, Seychelles, Mauritius and Madagascar – into the EU are now exempt from import duty after ratification by the European Parliament. The agreement should attract greater investment into the Eastern and Southern African region.
