Macquarie’s victory over ATO at Federal Court sets precedent

The Federal Court has sided with Macquarie Bank against the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) in a tax dispute over the sale of a stake in Minara Resources which will impact on other companies that are part of consolidated groups.
