Torys welcomes Martha MacDonald

Martha Macdonald has been appointed as a partner at Torys’ Toronto office in Canada, where she will lead the firm’s tax controversy and litigation practice.

Macdonald was previously a partner at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt before joining Torys.

She specialises in tax litigation as well as dispute resolution. She has advised on a variety of tax issues during her career, including transfer pricing, tax minimisation, foreign tax credits, residence for tax purposes, taxable employment benefits, and GST harmonised sales tax.
