Baker & McKenzie announces six new tax partners

Baker & McKenzie has internally promoted six associates, Yvonne Beh, Mounia Benabdallah, Alistair Craig, Reinaldo Ravelli, Jorge Salazar and Nopporn Charoenkitraj, to partners across its global offices.

Yvonne Beh, from the Kuala Lumpur office, has been an associate at Baker & McKenzie since 2008 and has more than 10 years' of experience advising on Malaysian tax issues.

Mounia Benabdallah is specialised in international tax law and works in the Amsterdam office in the Netherlands. In 2015, Benabdallah was nominated, for the second year in a row, a rising star in tax by Euromoney’s European Women in Business Law Awards. 

Alistair Craig works in the London office and specialises in international and transactional tax. Craig advises on all areas of UK corporate tax, with a particular focus on cross-border M&A work, including tax structuring and tax due diligence.

Trench, Rossi e Watanabe, which is associated with Baker & McKenzie and located in Brazil, promoted Reinaldo Ravelli to partner. Ravelli graduated with a master of laws degree from the Northwestern School of Law in 2011, and his practice is focused on corporate tax planning.

Jorge Salazar has worked for Baker & McKenzie in Monterrey, Mexico since 2003. Salazar’s practice has a focus on fiscal and administrative litigation.

Nopporn Charoenkitraj of the Bangkok office was also elected partner.
