Ludger Kempf and Aron Joy have been appointed to partner in the Frankfurt tax practice and counsel in the London tax team of Weil, Gotschal & Manges, respectively.

By Alexander Hartley

The firm made the two tax appointments as part of a slate of end-of-year personnel announcements, effective from January 1 2019.

Kempf, whose expertise is in transactional tax, income tax, investments, and financial-services VAT, will work with clients on German and international tax matters.

Joy joined Weil in 2016 and has worked primarily on investment management, business structuring and funds taxation.
