RSM expands North West presence

RSM Helen Guy Patrick Curry 100x90

RSM has hired two new tax directors, Helen Guy and Patrick Curry, at its Manchester practice. Both professionals have joined the firm after many years at KPMG.

Guy was KPMG’s national leader for creative industry tax reliefs. She specialises in the UK’s research and development (R&D) regime, particularly the patent box. Similarly, Curry has supported a range of businesses, including start-ups in the high tech sector. His expertise covers private equity-backed groups, through acquisitions, disposals and restructuring.

Guy and Curry will work as part of a 110-strong North West tax practice to expand the regional focus on innovation. The firm has a team of more than 680 partners and staff in the North West of England.
