Join ITR and Vertex at 10.30am GMT (11.30am CET) on February 8 2024 to stay on top of developments as Europe moves towards implementation of the VAT in the Digital Age reforms

Since EU finance ministers reached broad agreement on the VAT in the Digital Age (ViDA) proposals at the Economic and Financial Affairs Council in June 2023, there have been months of discussions and changes at EU level on the implementation dates and scope of the ViDA reforms and e-invoicing.

The failure to agree a way forward is causing unrest for tax authorities and companies as they attempt to prepare for the implementation of new legislative agreements. The discussions revolve around the three pillars of reform under the ViDA proposals:

  • VAT reporting obligations and e-invoicing;

  • VAT treatment of the platform economy; and

  • Single EU VAT registration.

In an exclusive webinar held in partnership with Vertex, the tax compliance solutions provider, the following insights will be provided by Gunjan Tripathi, director of solutions marketing at Vertex:

  • Updates on the progress of the ViDA reforms;

  • An assessment of the impact of delays on digital reporting requirements and e-invoicing; and

  • A summary of the latest legislative changes concerning e-invoicing.

The webinar aims to assist tax, finance, and IT professionals across a diverse range of industries and job titles, from security software to healthcare, and from manufacturing to streaming services.

There will be a Q&A session after a presentation of approximately half an hour, with the opportunity to raise questions throughout the webinar.

Don't miss the opportunity to hear about the latest legislative updates in the evolving landscape of European e-invoicing. Sign up now for the webinar on February 8 and help to empower your organisation with the knowledge necessary to navigate the complexities of the ViDA reforms.
