New transactions tax specialist at Deloitte UK

Deloitte in the South East of England has hired Mike Thorne, a specialist in transactions tax, as a partner. He will be based in the firm’s Reading office.

Thorne joins Deloitte from fellow big four firm, Ernst & Young. He has 16 years of experience advising multinationals and private equity clients in tax transaction matters.

His specific areas of focus are in providing tax advice related to acquisition and post-acquisition structuring, disposal planning, tax efficient financing and tax aligned supply chain planning.
