Withers to open tax practice in Dubai

Withers have announced that it will open a tax office in Dubai following the hire of tax specialist Stijn Janssen.

Janssen will head the tax department and joins the firm from EY’s Dubai office, where he led the MENA private client services team and co-headed the Dubai international tax group since 2013.  He specialises in cross-border tax matters.

Janssen was also involved in the launch Loyens & Loeff’s Dubai office in 2008

The office will be located in the Dubai International Financial Centre following regulatory approval.
