Akerman expands Chicago office

David Blum

David Blum has joined Akerman as a partner in the firm's Chicago tax practice group.

Blum, a former state tax auditor for the Internal Revenue Service, has experience in tax litigation and all types of domestic and cross-border transactions.

Before joining Akerman, Blum was a partner at Levenfeld Pearlstein. He has also held the position of attorney at various firms such as Vedder Price, Sachnoff & Weaver and Jenner & Block.
