DLA Piper expands with a new tax practice in South Africa

DLA Piper has launched a tax practice in Johannesburg, South Africa, with the appointment of Andrew Lewis as the office’s tax director.

Lewis joins from FirstRand Bank where he worked as a tax risk specialist, focusing on different areas within Rand Merchant Bank, WesBank and FirstRand (Group Treasury) as well as RMB Holdings, RMI Holdings and RMB Morgan Stanley.
