Caryn Smith joins DLA Piper

DLA Piper has appointed Caryn Smith as a partner in its tax practice at the firm’s office in Austin, US.

Smith routinely advises foreign and US multinationals on domestic and cross-border transactions, foreign tax credit and subpart F provisions, as well as supply chain restructurings, IP migration transactions, post-acquisition integrations, and cash repatriation.

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Smith was a tax partner at Baker McKenzie in Houston.
