Warren Payne takes adviser role at Mayer Brown

A senior member of the Ways and Means staff has left to join Mayer Brown.

Warren Payne has joined Mayer Brown in Washington DC as a senior adviser in the tax, government relations and international trade practices. He has been on the staff of the House of Representatives' Committee on Ways and Means for the last eight years, most recently as policy director.

Before joining the Ways and Means Committee, Payne was an economic adviser and international trade analyst at the US International Trade Commission. He also consulted on international trade and tax issues at Economic Consulting Services.
