Kromer and Luther colleagues set up new firm

The transfer pricing team of Luther, Taxand Germany have left to set up their own firm called Taxid.

Christophe Kromer and his colleagues will be joined at their new firm by Michael Kroener, who has been Deutsche Bank's global head of tax for more than 10 years. Before that he was head of tax & legal at Arthur Andersen in Germany.

 

Taxid will be based in Frankfurt and will specialise in tax strategy, tax process and compliance management, transfer pricing and business restructuring. The firm will also work with Thomas Hoenicke on the release of their U2 Universal Units - Tax Compliance Software on the European market including also transfer pricing documentation management and monitoring software.

Kromer will be an of counsel with Luther, an interim position while projects already under way are completed .
