Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners has a new head of tax

Kalinin Sergey

Sergey Kalinin has joined Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners as counsel and head of the tax practice in Russia.

Kalinin has more than 15 years’ experience in a wide range of tax issues. He specialises in advising Russian and foreign corporate clients in the tax structuring of transactions and investments, taxation of financial instruments, derivatives, tax disputes and private client asset management.

Before joining Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners, Kalinin was a tax partner at Liniya Prava. He has also worked at Pepeliaev, Goltsblat & Partners, Deloitte and Goltsblat BLP.
