Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr & Quiroga Advogados has hired two new tax partners in its Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo offices.

Gil Mendes is a direct tax specialist who will work in Sao Paulo. Mendes works with Brazilian multinational companies at home and abroad on issues relating to corporate reorganisations, investments and M&A. He is also experienced in Brazilian indirect tax matters.

Mario Prada, who will be based in Rio de Janeiro, has a wide range of experience in a number of industries, including the food and drink, automotive, pharmaceuticals, energy, chemicals, oil and gas, tobacco and telecommunications sectors.
