Swedish Tax Agency gets new director general

Katrin Westling Palm will become the new director general of the Swedish Tax Agency from November 1.

She will be leaving her post as director general and head of the Pensions Authority, which she has led since 2010 when it was formed. Before that, she was CEO at the Swedish Tax Agency, where she also served as CFO and planning manager from 1997-2004. 

Palm has solid experience of leading and developing government authorities in conjunction with her previous experience with the Swedish Tax Agency.

In her new role, she will be tasked with strengthening confidence in the agency externally and internally, among other objectives.
