The Indirect Tax team, made up of over 70 specialists, is known for its in-depth expertise in complex industries such as real estate, pharmaceuticals, automotive, transport, and the public sector. Our Real Estate Tax practice, in particular, advises a broad spectrum of clients—from leading funds and listed groups to medium and smaller-sized property firms.

Our Deal Advisory – Tax (M&A) group includes more than 45 professionals solely focused on transaction-related services, including tax due diligence, structuring, and modelling. The team plays a central role in many of Spain’s most high-profile deals, as reflected in leading market rankings. On the litigation front, we have a proven track record in representing major clients before Spanish and EU courts. Our professionals have acted in landmark tax disputes, including cases before the European Court of Justice and national high courts. We also serve as advisors to key industry associations across sectors like telecom, banking, and renewables, especially in proceedings involving the European Commission.

KPMG Abogados continues to lead the Spanish Transfer Pricing market, thanks to a high-performing team with a solid foundation in both tax and economics. Operating from both Madrid and Barcelona, our team of around 65 dedicated specialists works under a unified strategy alongside the international and M&A tax practices. Collectively, this group contributes nearly 20% of the firm’s total revenue and continues to show strong growth year over year.
