ITR is delighted to announce the winners of the 16th annual ITR Americas Tax Awards.
Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom picked up the prestigious Americas Tax Firm of the Year award, achieving widespread national and regional success across the region. Skadden was also recognised as the North America Litigation & Disputes Firm of the Year, North America Tax Firm of the Year and the Tax Court Firm of the Year.
Deloitte, which dominated across the award categories, was crowned Americas Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year and scooped awards for Latin America Tax Firm of the Year and Latin America Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year.
Morgan Lewis and Brazilian firm Pinheiro Neto Advogados also distinguished themselves, taking home the trophies for North America Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year and Latin America Litigation & Disputes Firm of the Year, respectively.
The winners of the in-house team of the year categories included Uber and The Coca-Cola Company. Lisa Wadlin of Netflix picked up In-house Tax Director of the Year. The awards also recognised the most impactful cases of 2020 and named 10 Impact Deals of the Year, along with the tax advisers and lawyers that worked on them.
Given the continued travel restrictions and the international nature of the awards, ITR was unable to host an in-person ceremony this year. However, the ITR team remains passionate about celebrating and supporting impactful and innovative tax and TP work and is excited to be able to present this year’s winners.
