Indian taxpayers need more clarity on service tax amnesty scheme

Taxpayers in India have asked for more clarification on the conditions of using the Voluntary Compliance Encouragement Scheme, which allows taxpayers to pay outstanding service tax without being subject to interest, penalties or prosecution.
