He joins from KPMG, where he was a director and provided advice on a range of goods and services tax (GST) issues. He has advised global financial services companies on various issues, including securitisation transactions, funds management, superannuation, life insurance, securities lending, cross-border finance, and syndicated finance transactions.
Before joining KPMG, Cridland held roles with King & Wood Mallesons, Corrs Chambers Westgarth, and fellow Big 4 firm Ernst & Young.
