Hogan Lovells hires KPMG partner in Madrid

Hogan Lovells has recruited Spanish tax partner Javier Gazulla Ascoz into its Madrid tax team.

The corporate tax specialist, who will advise on the tax planning of M&A, private equity, debt restructurings and real estate transactions, joins from KPMG Legal in Madrid, where he led the M&A tax department. Before moving to KPMG he also worked at Garrigues and Freshfields.

This is Hogan Lovells’ fifth global partner hire this year, after the arrivals of Fabrizio Lolliri, Cameron Crosby, Gerard Neiens and Rupert Shiers.
