Paul Hastings sends tax partner to Houston

A tax lawyer with Paul Hastings is one of four partners launching the firm’s new office in Houston, Texas.

Greg Nelson, who will be the office chairman, specialises in advising corporations and partnerships on federal income taxation. Examples of his work include tax-efficient structuring of corporate mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, including taxable sales and tax-free reorganisations.

Halliburton, Reliance Industries, CenterPoint Energy and Hines Interests Limited Partnerships have all been recent clients.
