Baker & McKenzie adds Kushner to North America practice

Marc Kushner has joined Baker & McKenzie's North America tax practice as a partner in the firm’s Chicago office.

Kushner specialises in federal, state and local taxation of partnership, joint venture, corporate and M&A transactions. He has extensive experience in real estate investment trust (REIT) taxation and tax issues pertaining to tax-exempt organisations. He has represented private real estate companies and REITs in multiple billion-dollar M&A transactions, and also represents clients in Internal Revenue Service audits, as well as in audits and inquiries of state and local taxing agencies and authorities.
