Weil Gotshal & Manges promotes two in London

International law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges has promoted both David Irvine and Oliver Walker from counsel to partner in the firm’s tax practice.

Both are based in London and will step up to the partnership on January 1 2016.

Irvine advises private equity, infrastructure, real estate, hedge fund sponsors and institutional investors on the domestic and international aspects of fund structuring tax efficient arrangements.

Irvine is a qualified lawyer and accountant with international tax experience from previous positions at Deloitte and Clifford Chance.

Walker specialises in providing tax advice on M&A, restructurings and structured finance transactions with particular focus on private equity and reorganisations, equity incentive arrangements, tax litigation and VAT matters.
