EY has appointed Maricla Pennesi as an international tax partner at its Milan practice. She joins the firm from Baker McKenzie, where she was a partner for three years.

Pennesi has more than 25 years of experience. She was the head of tax at DLA Piper for more than five years and was a partner at Deloitte for seven years. Pennesi has advised some of the world’s leading multinational companies, including Nestle, Vodafone and the Blackstone Group. Her remit encompasses international tax, business reorganisation, risk management and the digital economy.
