Baker & McKenzie is forming an exclusive alliance with TP Management Consulting (TPMC) in Shanghai to enhance its transfer pricing capabilities in China.
Glenn DeSouza, a US economist, who has worked in China since 1999 will run TPMC. He was formerly head of transfer pricing for PricewaterhouseCoopers in China. An ex-official from the tax authorities, who specialised in transfer pricing and advance pricing agreements when in government, and Qian Min, a certified tax agent, engineer and certified public accountant, whose clients include many of the largest investors in China, will also be part of TPMC.
