Tuerff gets bigger Deloitte role

Deloitte’s Washington National Tax (WNT) practice has a new leader.

Tim Tuerff will start in his new role on June 1. At the moment he is Washington international tax partner-in-charge for the Deloitte US tax practice.

The WNT practice advises clients on transactions and interprets the impact of legislative and administrative tax developments.

Tuerff has been a partner of Deloitte Tax in the US for 10 years. Before that he was an international tax practitioner in Washington, DC and served as special assistant to the chief counsel of the Internal Revenue Service.
