Alvarez & Marsal Taxand expands in New York

Alvarez & Marsal Taxand has hired James Bartek as managing director in the firm’s New York office.

Bartek brings more than 20 years of experience to the role, and has worked on indirect tax issues with companies in various sectors including telecommunications, financial services, pharmaceuticals and technology.

In his new role, he will focus on providing indirect tax services to the Northeast region.

Before joining A&M Taxand, Bartek spent 17 years with PwC.
