Tax Partner Taxand hires new partner

Bernhard Zwahlen, a former Swiss partner of Ernst & Young, has joined Tax Partner Taxand Switzerland.

During his career, Zwahlen has also been chief officer at the tax authorities of the Canton of Berne and head of the tax & legal department of Arthur Andersen in Switzerland. In 2002 he became a partner of Ernst & Young and was regional managing partner of corporate tax and private client services from 2007 to January 2012. He was also responsible for private tax services in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He has been a president of various Swiss inter-cantonal commissions on tax and a member of several commissions of the Swiss cantonal Parliament.
