Uganda’s victory in Tullow dispute sets example for African countries which strike oil

Multinational oil and gas exploration company Tullow has finally settled its long-running dispute with authorities in Uganda, agreeing to pay the government $250 million in total. In March, the east African nation won $400 million from Heritage.
