Clifford Chance chooses new global tax head

Chris Davies has been chosen to replace David Harkness as Clifford Chance’s new global tax, pensions and employment (TPE) head from January 1 2014.

Having served as the global TPE head for two four-year terms, Harkness was ineligible for re-election, but remains with the firm in his role as tax partner in the London office.

Davies has been with the magic circle firm since 1999 and is a specialist in corporate and financial taxation.

Clifford Chance will also elect a new global managing partner and a new London managing partner in the next few months.
