Economic Laws Practice in India has added a transfer pricing practice in its Pune office. The practice is being led by ex-KPMG Ajit Tolani who has spent 10 years working in transfer pricing, three of which were spent in New York. Tolani will remain based in Pune, having headed the transfer pricing team there for KPMG.

Before joining KPMG in 2001, Tolani worked with RSM & Co in its corporate tax and international tax division.

He specialises in transfer pricing planning and documentation projects to determine proper arm's-length compensation for tangible property, intangible property, and services. He has also advised clients on supply chain management and inbound and outbound tax structuring.
