India's Solicitor General concludes arguments in Vodafone case

India’s Solicitor General today completed his arguments in the Vodafone Supreme Court case by forcefully re-iterating that the Cayman Island structure was an “artificial tax avoidance scheme”.

Rohington Nariman’s arguments only lasted six days compared to the 18 days taken by Vodafone’s counsel, Harish Salve.

Salve will present his final arguments on October 11 which are expected to last three days.
