Kyriaki Dafni has more than 16 years of professional experience, having previously worked for a private legal practice and in the legal department of BP Hellas SA during her attorney-at-law training period. Kyriaki has significant experience advising domestic and international clients with respect to indirect tax including VAT, insurance premium tax (IPT) and stamp duty, and international taxation issues including cross-border taxation and double tax treaties. She is responsible for the VAT/IPT registration and VAT/IPT compliance services to overseas clients registered in Greece.

Kyriaki is successfully involved with performing tax due diligence reviews for several multinational and domestic companies, especially dealing with the area of indirect taxation and provides tax planning services, with a focus on indirect tax, involving tax efficient structuring, to several clients. Furthermore, Kyriaki has experience in personal taxation and has provided global employer services for select clients. During the past 10 years, she has focused on issues of indirect taxation and she is the VAT leader for Greece dealing with all cases referred to the Greek practice in this area.

Kyriaki graduated from the National Athens University where she obtained an Bachelors in Law from the Athens Law School. She also has a diploma in taxation from the Athens Economic University and is a qualified attorney-at-law and fully-fledged member of the Athens Bar Association. Deloitte Greece has offered her opportunities to take part in various seminars in Greece and abroad both in the field of direct and indirect taxation. Kyriaki is also a facilitator of VAT of all post graduate training seminars of the Deloitte Academy and she has contributed articles to several tax magazines. Kyriaki has been included in International Tax Review's Indirect Tax Leaders guide and the Women in Tax Leaders guide since their first edition.

Eftichia Piligou is a tax principal at Deloitte Greece where she leads the transfer pricing practice.

Eftichia has more than 15 years of professional experience in tax consulting services, with a specialisation in transfer pricing and international taxation. Eftichia has led engagement teams on transfer pricing documentation projects for numerous clients operating in various industries. She has also led a significant number of projects involving transfer pricing planning and also has wide experience in tax and transfer pricing controversy.

Eftichia has been engaged with and successfully led the transfer pricing planning and advice for multinational groups of companies in all industry areas, transfer pricing documentation, tax and transfer pricing controversy, including assisting clients with advance pricing agreements (APAs) and mutual agreement procedures (MAPs), and international tax advice and structuring.

Eftichia has been a member of the Athens Bar Association since 1999, holding a degree in law from the University of Athens and a DEA in public finances and taxation from the University of Paris 2 (Pantheon-Assas).

Eftichia has been recognised on many occasions as a leading adviser in Euromoney's Transfer Pricing Expert Guide.

Maria Trakadi is the tax managing partner of Deloitte Greece, leading a practice of 160 professionals covering all tax fields.

Maria has more than 20 years of professional experience, providing tax advisory services to Greek and multinational clients, across all industries, with a focus on the consumer business and pharmaceuticals sectors.

Maria is a member of the tax committee of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Hellenic-Swedish Chamber of Commerce. Maria is also a regular presenter at tax conferences and forums.
