Corwin returns to KPMG after stint at US Treasury

Manal Corwin has rejoined Big 4 firm KPMG, having completed her tenure as deputy assistant secretary of tax policy for international tax affairs at the US Department of the Treasury.

Corwin assumes the role of national service line leader for international corporate services, as well as taking on the newly-created title as principal-in-charge, Washington National Tax – International Tax Policy.

Before serving in the Treasury, Corwin was a principal in KPMG’s Washington National Tax practice from 2001 to 2009.

She previously worked as an attorney at Covington & Burling in Washington, DC, and also served as a judicial clerk for Chief Judge Levin Campbell on the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
