Sanjay has been a tax partner with Deloitte India since 2015. He presently concentrates on Deloitte India’s projects on advance pricing agreements and mutual agreement procedures, and tax policy initiatives.
Sanjay has been a senior fellow and adjunct faculty member at Duke University in the US since 2007, in the Sanford School of Public Policy. He teaches public finance and revenue forecasting.
Sanjay holds a Ph.D. in international trade from the University of Mysore, India, and has a master’s degree in economics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and a master’s and a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Delhi. He has published several academic papers on tax policy, trade, and industry issues in reputed national and international journals, and recently co-authored a book on royalties and fees for technical services taxation.
