Biography
Ravi Kiran Vadlamani is a Chartered Accountant, Cost and Management Accountant, and Certified Public Accountant with more than 25 years of professional experience in public accounting, assurance and advisory services. His career includes nearly 13 years with Big Four firms, specialising in services for multinational SEC-registered foreign private issuers and cross-border reporting environments.
As Senior Partner and Leader of Audit, Assurance and Outsourcing at Steadfast Business Consulting LLP, Ravi focuses on accounting standards implementation, internal control over financial reporting under the COSO framework, financial statement preparation and regulatory reporting support. He advises clients on complex financial reporting issues, governance frameworks and compliance with international accounting and auditing standards.
Ravi previously worked with Deloitte LLP in London as part of the Global IFRS and Offerings Services practice, where he advised international clients on US public and private offerings and supported IFRS adoption initiatives. He has extensive expertise in US GAAP, IFRS and SEC regulations, and has led numerous technical accounting projects, training programmes, US initial public offerings and secondary offerings.
His audit experience spans PCAOB standards, US GAAS and Indian GAAS, and he has worked extensively with multinational clients across multiple jurisdictions, including London, New York and Shanghai. Prior to his London assignment, he served as a Senior Manager within Deloitte's Global IFRS and Offerings Services practice in Hyderabad, where he led the health sciences and government verticals within the external audit practice supporting US engagement teams.
Before joining Deloitte & Touche in 2005, Ravi spent more than five years in the assurance practice at Lovelock & Lewes, a PricewaterhouseCoopers member firm, where he supported engagements within the Global Capital Markets Group.
