Pedro Madera Argumedo

Pedro is a director in the domestic corporate tax advisory and tax controversy practice at KPMG Colombia. He graduated from the Universidad Externado de Colombia with a master’s degree in tax law and a specialisation in corporate tax law.

Before joining KPMG, Pedro served as an assistant judge at the Colombian Supreme Tax Court. He also worked in the tax advisory team of a global consulting services firm and in the tax consulting team of a local legal service firm.

Pedro has extensive experience in tax consulting regarding national and foreign taxes, as well as international taxation. He was nominated as a Rising Star in the Tax Dispute & Litigation section of the ITR Americas Tax Awards 2024.
