Camilo Rodríguez Vargas

Camilo has worked for KPMG since 2012, and is now a partner in the practices of conflict resolution and litigation, customs and exchange, and labour and immigration law.

He also has wide experience in the development of tax, customs, exchange, and general legacy compliance work, including the review of tax returns, the review of exchange forms, the registration of foreign investment and/or borrowings, and responses to the requirements of the control authorities and associated judicial processes.

Camilo has a specialism in financial law and holds a diploma in taxation from the Universidad del Rosario. With extensive public sector experience, he served as adviser to the General Directorate of the National Tax and Customs Directorate (Dirección de Impuestos y Aduanas Nacionales, or DIAN) and as the head of the legal office, director of legal management, and director of revenue management at the DIAN.
