Mattia Piol

Mattia is an assistant manager in the indirect tax department of Deloitte Ireland, where he advises a diverse portfolio of domestic and international clients across all industries, with a particular focus on the environmental sector.

Mattia has experience with both domestic and international VAT matters, and he advises on compliance with the EU VAT directives and Irish VAT law, particularly for cross-border and international transactions.

Prior to joining the Irish firm in February 2021, Mattia worked in the indirect tax department of Deloitte Italy for four years and he had internship experience at the Italian Revenue Agency and at a pharmaceutical company.
