Uljana is a Principal in the International & Corporate Tax department at ATOZ.
A tax professional since 2008, Uljana has experience in Luxembourg tax advisory, focusing on investment funds, private equity, real estate, as well as multinational corporations. She advises a wide range of international clients on tax matters related to cross-border operations, set-up of investment structures, mergers & acquisitions, reorganisations and divestures. With a keen understanding of the complex and diverse challenges faced by crossborder businesses, she manages Article 63 TFEU reclaims for US, Canadian and European funds, reclaiming dividend withholding tax in 12 European countries. She has gained the whole of her professional experience in Luxembourg working on various tax matters for international clients as well as additional experience in the audit field.
Furthermore, she gained a significant insight into PE operations following an in-house experience with EQT on an 18-month secondment within the Tax & Structuring team.
Having completed her education in Luxembourg and United Kingdom, Uljana is at home interacting with different cultures and different languages.
Uljana holds a post-graduate degree in Luxembourg Tax. She also holds a degree in International Business Management from Newcastle Business School of Northumbria University (United Kingdom).
She speaks English, Luxembourgish, German and French.
