During the research period, the team acquired new clients such as Guayacorp and Vaka. It defended companies in complex administrative and judicial proceedings, including in the Supreme Court. Its tax advisory had also covered issues such as transfer pricing, double taxation, and customs, notably advising clients on the Patrimony Tax Law, helping them restructure their holdings to reduce their potential tax liability. The firm’s ability to advise on the Patrimony Tax is thanks in part to its participation in meetings with public officials from the Ministry of Economy.
