Tax

Eurofast's tax and tax mobility services have risen in prominence since its establishment in 2015, as more multinational corporations expand their operations in Croatia. The team's core consists of David Jakovljević, Afrodita Taći, Kristina Šestak and Goran Uzelac.

During the research period, the firm filed a case in the Administrative Court to remove the applicability of the real estate transfer tax. The team was also involved in litigation because the tax authority was collecting VAT against non-governmental and non-public entities that provided educational services to individuals, which was in violation of the EU VAT law. The team effectively turned this practise around and won the case.

Senior tax accountant Lara Plećko joined the firm during the research period.
