Additionally, it supports clients through tax audits conducted by both federal and local tax authorities.  The team specializes in several economic sectors including automobiles, clean energy, food and drink producers, telecom, real estate, and industrial engineering.

During the research period, Acedo Santamarina’s tax team has been active in both corporate tax and controversy matters. The firm is currently assisting Garay Componentes Turbulares S.A with tax matters related to VAT refunds. The firm also participated in controversy matters for Leggett and Platt Automotive Group de Mexico. The firm attained a favorable judgement for the client in an administrative appeal against tax assessments issued by the tax administration.
