
Ernesto Silva
Ernesto is an associate at Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa, where he provides high-level tax advisory services to important local and global corporations, and has been involved in complex negotiations with authorities. With over 10 years of experience, Ernesto handles complex cases within his area of expertise before District Courts and Federal Tribunals, including the Mexican Supreme Court of Justice.
His practice also focuses on technology and media law. Ernesto has advised clients on complex technology and fintech matters, including obtaining authorisations from relevant governmental authorities for fintech entities in Mexico, as well as implementing technological solutions in various business sectors, such as electronic signature software.
He has also published several articles on a wide range of technology-related topics in national and international specialised magazines. Ernesto holds a law degree from the Universidad Panamericana and a master of laws degree from Queen Mary University of London. He previously served as a professor of tax law at the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas.
