
César De la Parra
César is a distinguished attorney with over 23 years of experience, having graduated from the Universidad Iberoamericana. He holds a master’s degree in international taxation from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and has been a partner at Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa since 2015.
César primarily focuses his professional practice on dispute resolution, and administrative and tax litigation, providing counsel across a wide range of sectors and transactions, representing domestic and international clients. He has extensive experience in tax litigation and controversies, as well as in handling procedures initiated by tax authorities involving transfer pricing, the financial system, corporate restructuring, and anti-money laundering compliance. Additionally, César leads the anti-money laundering practice at the firm.
He is also passionate about academia, having served as a professor of tax law at the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas and compliance at the Universidad Iberoamericana. He has been recognised by ITR in the tax controversy area as a “Highly Regarded” practitioner for four consecutive years since 2022.
