His experience includes advising on complex trading and cross-border arrangements where contractual flows, movement of goods, commercial substance and UAE tax rules must be considered together.
Balaram’s key strength lies in his ability to convert complex legislation into practical and implementable tax solutions. He has extensive experience developing tax positions, governance frameworks, transaction-flow analyses and internal processes that allow organisations to manage tax obligations efficiently while maintaining strong documentation and controls.
He actively supports the deployment of technology-enabled compliance and tax governance frameworks, helping organisations embed tax controls within their systems, data and processes.
